Yeah, another year has passed. It's October again, so we hosted Kyokuyo Open Golf Tournament to renew our gratitude to our valuable suppliers, sub-contractors, outsourcees and other guests. A total of 110 players, in 29 groups, participated in the 56th Kyokuyo Open, held on October 7, 2016, at Shimonoseki Golf Club.
We are happy to let you know that yet another SSS (Semi-spherically-shaped) bowed ship was born. After pure car carriers and a container carrier, it was a 12,000tdw type cement carrier that was fitted with Kyokuyo's globally patented technology.

On October 9, a windless and beautifully sunny day, the 55th "Kyokuyo Open" golf tournament was held to commemorate the anniversary of the company's foundation (October 10, 1942).
On October 7, Kyokuyo Shipyard held a long service award ceremony to honor its employees who had achieved 10 or 20 years of continuous service.
