Naming & Delivery of 1,096TEU Container Ship "A ROKKO"

According to the traditional Japanese calendar, which originated in China, Risshun, or the beginning of spring, was celebrated on February 4 this year.

On February 20, when it was still chilly although it was supposed to be spring, the naming and delivery ceremony for S574, the fifth ship in the series of 1,096 TEU container carriers, was held. For Kyokuyo, this was the first ship to be delivered in 2024.

SUMISE MARU NO. 3, which was jointly ordered by Maruichi Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. and the Japan Railway Construction, Transport and Technology Agency (JRTT) . She is our first vessel built with Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. as cargo owner.
