NEWS 333 : WHERE EFFICIENCY MEETS RESPONSIBILITY

At the delivery ceremony for "HOPE", we were honored to welcome the family of Mr. Kanae Tomiie, President of Izumi Steel Co., Ltd. - a valued tank supplier and longtime partner. His daughter, Ms. Kanae Tomiie, had the pleasure of performing the ceremonial rope cutting.

For the delivery of "INFINITY", we were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Kondo of JRCS Co., Ltd., a leading marine equipment manufacturer based in our hometown of Shimonoseki. Mr. Koichiro Kondo graciously named the vessel, while his wife, Mrs. Yuka Kondo, performed the rope cutting.

Both vessels are now set to join the fleet of the Erasmus Group, led by Mr. Zhongyi Su, who named GAS HOPE, and are expected to play an active role in the Group’s growing LPG transport operations.
As global energy demands rise and environmental concerns grow ever more urgent, LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is gaining attention as a cleaner alternative to traditional fossil fuels such as oil and coal. These vessels are purpose-built LPG carriers capable of transporting up to 7,500m³ of liquefied propane, butane, and other gases.
Beyond compliance with NOx Tier III emission standards, the vessel is equipped with an SCR* (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system to further reduce nitrogen oxide emissions and minimize its environmental footprint. Additionally, it features a PBCF (Propeller Boss Cap Fins), enhancing propulsion efficiency and improving fuel economy through reduced energy consumption.
*) SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) is an emissions control technology that uses a urea-based solution to convert harmful NOx (nitrogen oxides) from diesel exhaust into harmless nitrogen and water.
At every stage, Kyokuyo strives to build vessels that meet the expectations of our customers and the evolving needs of society. Our commitment remains strong: to deliver high-quality ships that combine technical excellence with environmental responsibility.
